Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions are a contractual agreement between SoundBaths and our customers. Please read the information and services available to you, the customer, it is a condition of purchase that you agree and adhere to the Terms and Conditions herein. 

Upon purchasing any items or services from SoundBaths you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. The  contractual agreement is as follows but not limited to:

• Withdrawal, absence, late arrivals or cancellation of services and/or products. 

You agree to waive any right to a refund where it applies to: change of mind, wrong item ordered, withdrawal from a session for any reason, absence from a session, late arrivals to a session or cancellation of a session or of any services or products.  

We ask that you carefully check that you will be available for the dates & times for the session you are booking to attend.  We value your time and ask that you value ours and prioritise your session once it has been booked.  Overheads for the session include (but are not limited to) technician fees, rental / room fees, insurances fees,  music licensing fees, cleaning fees, rehearsal expenses, dry cleaning (blankets, pillows, props and more), water supply, staff expenses, administration fees, sundry (such as candles), bank & transaction fees.  We take careful consideration to ensure our pricing offers you value for your money and meaningful employment for our staff.  Once a session is booked it is unrealistic to think your place can be filled at last minute.  We therefore ask that if you do need to cancel a SoundBath session, for any reasonable reason, you contact us immediately and we will do our best to accomodate you with a possible session exchange where we can, though this may not always be possible.  

Cancellations within 48hrs will not be considered for any session exchange.  

In purchasing items, products, clothing, or anything purchased as retail or from our online or in person store you agree to waive any right to refunds or exchanges.  We do not mass produce or use underpaid labour in our sourcing of such items.  We therefore do not have the margin line to cover return post, restocking labour, administration labour, accounting transaction reversals and so on.  We ask you choose carefully before making any purchases.  We are also unable to offer any exchanges for hygienic reasons.  We utilise professional services to photograph and video our products during inspection prior to release, packaging and posting/courier and we take our role seriously in offering you beautiful carefully chosen retail products as value for your money.  Once the item has left our premises you agree we have no further control or responsibility over the product, products, item, items.  You therefore waive any right to any damages encountered once the item has left our premises.

• Financial transactions.

Upon making a financial transaction with us you agree to waive your right to any refund or exchange and will keep your end of the contractual agreement according to our Terms and Conditions herein and Session Rules which can be found when booking your session.  If you are uncertain of require clarification please contact us at bookings@soundbaths.com.au

• Customer expectations.

Customers should be aware when booking a SoundBath Session they are booking an experience. We take weeks in preparation for each session and care to ensure each participant will have a positive experience and outcome. However, some circumstances, such as the extent of individuals emotional needs, may be beyond our control and/or expertise. 

Whilst we only utilise technicians who hold a highly credible 20+ yrs experience each (covering sound & instruments, public care roles, educational & leadership experience, psychology 101, personal learned experience, soul body & mind studies), we do not claim to be doctors, medical professionals, gurus, spiritual leaders, healers or the like.  We run our sessions constructed through the fundamental studies of science in sound, their vibrations and effect and resonating relationship to the human body (encompassing the mental, emotional and physical self).  

Whilst all care has been taken to communicate (through our website text, emails and in person at sessions) and educate customers, participants and individuals, we take no liability for any errors within this information and instead encourage individuals to check and conduct their own research and ultimately to always follow the advice of qualified professionals especially in relation to medical needs or mental illness.

• Copyright rules, such as attribution, adaptation, commercial or non-commercial use, etc.

All information within this website, our flyers, our communications and SoundBath Sessions is copyrighted.  At no time is our information, designs, communications to be copied and distributed by any means. Any attempt to do so will be a violation of our IP rights, privacy, professionalism and trust and result in further action being taken.  By engaging and purchasing our services or products you therefore agree to adhere to supporting our rights as stated above, to not copy and/or distribute our information, communications, IP, designs, music, session structure, session narrative or the "SoundBaths experience".

• Session Rules during SoundBath Sessions: behaviour, unlawful behaviour, hate speech, bullying, promotions etc.

We forbid any unlawful behaviour during our SoundBath Sessions or during any interaction with our staff, our website, our Terms and Conditions, our Session Rules, online, through social media, TikTok and in public reviews. If you do review us using hate, maliciousness, negativity or dishonesty we reserve the right to review you back utilising any communications, camera footage and witness accounts to back up our innocence, integrity and good character.

We do not tolerate bullying, hate speech, verbal abuse, physical abuse, threats, lying, false accusations. Individuals who display any of these characteristics will be removed from the session.  If their behaviour relates to online or keyboard warrior style abuse they will be blocked, communication will cease and the appropriate authorities informed. 

We ask individuals recognise when the error has been theirs and to not lash out at staff due to frustrations (ie cancellation of a session last minute, wrong product ordered, change of mind, disappointment of their experience and so on).  We do everything we can to offer transparency in our transactions with you. If you do not agree with our Terms and Conditions then you are free to go elsewhere.  It is a condition of this contractual agreement that you adhere to our rules whilst interacting with us.  We would not expect anyone to tolerate abusive behaviour and ask that you understand why we would not tolerate it either. Our philosophy for life on a daily basis is to eliminate negative energy where possible and so  as we state our Terms and Conditions clearly, if you are unable to abide with them, we ask you go elsewhere.

You are not to promote your services at our SoundBath sessions to other attendees.  Our SoundBaths sessions are silent. Each participant is there for their own needs and requirements.  You are not to infringe on other attendees opportunities to completely immerse themselves into their session by approaching them with self promotion, offering professional services, offering information, general chat or attempting to create a rapport until the session has ended and all attendees have left the space. This is because some attendees have real needs to utilise the session to work through mental, emotional and physical baggage without interruption.  Our technicians have needs to focus on delivering session directive and participants safety and not be distracted from this.  

You will be given communication sheets at each session.  If you would like a follow up call, email, zoom and so on then you have the opportunity to request it through the communication sheet for a later time. We thank you for understanding the concept on 'holding the space' for attendees and the importance of this.  We want every attendee to have their needs met with the opportunity for the session to offer all it can to assist improving, nurturing and creating positive outcomes within their lives. 

• Further Terms and Conditions to protect us, our staff, our business and our audience may be updated from time to time with no notice required by us. Terms and Conditions may also extend to our directive or communications to you via written word, spoken and so on. Thank you.
